INDIVIDUAL INITIAL ASSESSMENT

Service Description

Our Initial Assessment consists of Initial Interview with caregiver/staff to gain insight on background information to identify areas of strength, need, and any music preferences child/client may have. We would meet with client for two, 1:1 sessions (approximately 30 minutes per time) to test responsiveness to various music experiences (singing, playing, movement, listening, etc.). All information would be compiled into a report and the information gathered would indicate if he/she is an appropriate candidate for music therapy.
